Trinity Beach is a popular stretch of sand north of Cairns, facing the Coral Sea and enjoying the warm, tropical waters of Far North Queensland. Sea temperatures remain comfortable throughout the year. During the hotter wet season from around November to April, the water usually sits between 27–30 °C, often feeling very warm and inviting. In the cooler dry season from May to October, temperatures ease back slightly but still stay pleasant, generally around 23–26 °C. Even in winter, the sea here is mild and well suited to swimming.
