Water temperatures here are typical for the metro coastline and suit swimming for a large part of the year. In summer, from December to February, the sea usually ranges between 21–24°C, feeling warm and refreshing on hot days. Autumn remains comfortable at around 19–22°C. Winter is cooler and more bracing, generally about 16–18°C, while spring brings a steady warm-up again, usually sitting between 18–21°C as air temperatures rise.
