Twilight Beach is one of Esperance’s standout beaches, set along the far southern edge of Western Australia where the Great Australian Bight meets bright white sand and clear, turquoise water. Sea temperatures here are cool but inviting in the warmer months. Summer, from December to February, usually brings water temperatures of about 18–22°C, which feels comfortable for longer swims on calm, sunny days. Autumn eases back to around 16–19°C, while winter is colder and more bracing, typically sitting between 13–15°C. In spring, the water slowly warms again to roughly 15–17°C, though cool southerly breezes can still add a chill.
