Dicky Beach sits on the southern end of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, facing the Coral Sea, and offers water temperatures that are comfortable for swimming through most of the year. In summer, from around December to March, sea temperatures usually range between 24 and 26 °C, giving the water a warm, inviting feel that suits regular swims. During winter, typically June to August, temperatures drop back to about 19–21 °C, which can feel cool on first entry but is still pleasant on sunny, calm days. Spring and autumn are often ideal, with water temperatures commonly sitting between 21–23 °C and generally stable weather.
