Two Rocks marks the northern end of Perth’s City Coast, where the Indian Ocean feels a little more open and rugged than further south. Water temperatures here are still very much in line with the Perth metro pattern. In summer, from December to February, the sea usually sits around 21–24°C, which feels warm and comfortable on sunny days. Autumn remains pleasant at roughly 19–22°C, while winter cools to about 16–18°C, making the water brisk but still suitable for short swims. Spring brings a steady warm-up again, generally sitting between 18–21°C as air temperatures rise and winds ease.
